Summer is
synonymous with barbecues, parades and fireworks. As you plan your
celebration with fireworks remember that the tall grass from our wet spring is drying
out significantly and is ready to burn.
There are no fireworks restrictions for Newton at this time but as the summer progresses it is likely that all unincorporated areas of Cache County will be in a fireworks restricted area. This affects the areas outside Newton Town limits - please watch for updates before using fireworks in those areas during Pioneer Day celebrations later in July.
It is lawful to
discharge fireworks during the following times and days in 2019:
July 2 – July 5:
11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Extend to 12:00 p.m. on July 4.
